Only question is chainring clearance when you put the crank on.

Normally with such a BB design, as long as the right / drive side is all the way in and the other is tight, you are good to go. But it is possible you got a 73mm BB when you wanted a 68mm, that does look like an extra 5mm of thread.

If it is correctly tightened and your chainline is good…..send it.

In the photo showing both sides of the BB is that a crack next to the weld joint the seat tube to the BB?

Damn thought this was my bike for a sec. Did this exact upgrade yesterday.

The drive side has the flange and is designed to be threaded right up to it. The left side is supposed to just be tightened as much as you can. They are normally supplied as a cartridge and a cup. There is a small chance that the cartridge didn’t fully seat in the cup, I like to insert the cup a bit first so I can ensure the cartridge seats correctly before tightening the cartridge fully home, then finally tightening the cup fully.
