Recently got a new job in San Diego and it’s only a 2.8 mile bike ride from my apartment. The route is primarily residential, all paved, with one relatively steep hill. Outside of commuting, I might use the bike for riding around, getting groceries, all pretty casual.
I haven’t owned a bike as an adult so this is totally new to me. Any input y’all can provide is appreciated!
After some casual reading, seems like the Trek FX series might be a good route to go. Saw this trek disc FX2 listed on FB marketplace for $625. Good deal? Good bike for my situation?
