Would love to hear your thoughts on the set up. I ran 45mm panaeacer x1+ last year for the 200.
My checkpoint had a max of 45mm stated clearance. Rode the 100 two years ago with 50mm panaeacers and in the bud had scratching / wear to the frame from just rolling the bike in the mud.
I picked up the gen 3 checkpoint which had a stated 50mm clearance but don’t think I’m willing to go that big based on my experience two years ago with mud.
Currently planning to run 45mm panaracers again.
Those tires aren’t on the recommended list by Zipp for those wheels. I’d be curious on your take if you feel its any riskier or not because im looking at these specific wheels but am concerned about them being hookless and needing a ‘list’ of approved tires.
Looks sick! I just bought the same wheels but ran the xplr slicks. Yours look cool with the chunky tires!!!
