I wanted some cool wheels for the revolt, not a ton of real world reviews on these xplrs so I signed up as the guinea pig. Did a 30 miler today on them and they felt great. On a quick loose pack gravel section the Goodyear xplr slick tire felt very slippery compared to the rambler that came stock, but I do a lot of road so the trade off is worth it. Anyways I don’t have much to compare them to, but they felt fast, and most importantly they look cool.

I’ve got the same wheels on the way for a crux I’m building. Definitely look cool. Yesss main reason I’m getting them, and I don’t care. And will perform great to. I’ll be putting 45’s on them for mine.

    Looks great!

Came here to post some zipp xplrs for a new wheels day post and this was the first post i saw.

  3. Nice! I am waiting for a pair of the sw’s I picked up with a black friday deal. Edit to add, hopefully Zipp will continue adding tested/approved tires. I’ll be running unapproved Thundero 40’s to start.
