So I was pretty tight on a budget but my goal was to buy a bike and start working out and loosing weight now and don't wait till I save for a better deal or to wait for a delivery of my frame size.
That's how I found this Polygon Tambora G4 right for my height frame size and bought it for 1000 usd.
Within three month I was looking for good deals and that's what I was able to build.

"BTW I've lost 9kg in just a month of gravel riding it 3 times a week early in the mornings."

The list:
– Sram Rival 1×11 group set with hydraulic brakes used only once instead of mechanical stock microshift. (500 usd on Facebook)
– Redshift stem 100mm using it with the hardest elastics. Makes a huge difference on a bumby rides and you don't feel it on asphalt. (177 usd sale Amazon)
– Ergon CF allroad Pro Carbon seatpost. Again it doesn't move until you hit smth really big or unexpected, keeps you bottom safe. (170 usd sale Amazon)
– Hunt 35 Carbon Wheelset with a delivery they were on a 200 smth discount so I've added a lifetime warranty. (1015 usd but I've paid only half, cause my brother decided to give me 500 usd as a gift wich I immediately used for buying hunt wheels instead of Chinese carbon Elitewheels form AliExpress.)
– Pirelli cinturato gravel M 700x45c Wich is the maximum for my frame. Mounted them tubeless and running on 35psi. (95 usd)
– SPD pedals and shoes I got on a local shop clearance at arround 80 usd totally.
– Lumire and CO bike seat bag small in which I carry my cranckbrothers multi tool, tire repair kit and a small foldable knife. (27 usd on Amazon).

So yes I've spent totally arround 2549 usd in three months and I could have bought smth in this price range built form factory probably full carbon with the same level of equipment. But there is smth I like about building my own setup exactly how I like it.

  1. Enjoy your bike and rides! Silly question, but that right bottle holder seems up relatively high. Why?
