Hi everyone, I came home with a new specialized bike today but one screw has stripped/rounded? on the frame. All others were fine and were easy to remove for bottle cage installation barring one.
Admittedly I've been hacking away at it and I've tried a vise grip, rubber band trick etc. is there anything else I can do? Or should I just take it back to the shop.

It’s a new bike. Bring it back to the store.
I reckon I could get that out with my Engineer screw extracting pliers. They love a test. If they failed though, out comes the Dremel. That said, the bike shop should sort it if it’s brand new
A screw extractor will do it. Has threads that will dig into the stripped screw hole. One of these saved my bacon when I overtightened the hydraulic port on a sram axs brifter.
If the bike was delivered to you like this, take it back to the shop. If you did it then go with the extractor. I got my set at Lowe’s.
Just call it a rivet and get on with your life
Next time before extremely killing it, get valve grinding compound packed inside the hex area and try again. Occasionally you can get lucky switching between metric and sae. If all else fails easy out, but be warned, you have drill dead center and deep on a shallow head bolt like this. My favorite if I have to drill is snapon’s reversed drill bit set. Half the time the bit catches and it backs the screw / bolt out.
Hammer a larger Torx bit in.
