“Vicky blue” — my climber bike

Fellow bike freaks, we have here a late 1980-ish Performance Vitesse (which I believe means speed in Italian).
Generic carbon folk, which I purchased off eBay (aka China).
We’ve got some Mavic CXP 22 wheels, with a pair of Bontrager 25c clinchers.
Shimano 105 cranks, with 48/38 chainrings.
A Shimano HG61 11/32 cassette, 9 speed.
Shimano 105 front derailleur, along with a Shimano Deore XT rear derailleur (that’s right folks… mountain bike components on a road bike!

In the cockpit, we have 105 brakes, with some Dure Ace 10 speed bar end shifters. Because I can’t afford the latest group sets out… workin’ with what I got folks!

It ain’t a perfect world. But this bike runs pretty damn well.
