The frame size matches my height and components seem good. The seller is asking for $700 for it. Apparently the owner has had it for 6 years and has kept it well, he is unwilling to lower the price though. Is this a good deal for $700 or can it come down lower?

I would have said 650, but then I’ve seen the mechanical disc brakes, 480$ max in this market
$700 for a used bike is bananas. is this one of those $2k carbon fiber bikes?
wouldn’t pay more than $100 for a used bike in general.

Send proof of similar bikes at a lower price point. If you can’t find them, consider he might be right.
you can’t force a seller to sell. either you wait them out by letting them continue to reduce price or you find a bike you’re willing to pay for
