fwiw; here is the rundown of what was done to get that thing off
LBS 1 : quick teardown of all other parts, on stock drive side BB cup – long bars and table vice, even an impact wrench to no avail
LBS 2 : overnight soak in penetrating oil, brute force using table vice etc.
both LBS understandably did not pursue it any more due to fear of frame damage
so, given the lack of tools on my end, here is what i did at home:
post LBS day 1: heated BB shell in boiling water, quick oil soak then long bar and vice combo (tool bolted to axle)
day 2- 5 : soaking in penetrating oil, and 2x daily bout of impact wrench, long bars and using the frame as leverage with table vice. Reddit thread ongoing at this point
Day 6 : 45mins drive to The Bike House, 30mins wait time, voila! it popped off finally. one of tightest BB they have come across they say💪. bolted to table vice with frame as leverage i believe. i need me to go build up my upper body strength 😅😁
on closer inspection, frame is in amazing condition, save for some spots that i need to refinish (thank goodness it is brushed finish)
had to cancel my amazon order for caustic soda beads. was also already in contact with a machinist at this point. 😅

Congratualtions! Now the fun part can begin. FWIW – I back the BB out of my Lynskey once a year, just to clean and regrease the threads.
