You just need to shorten the chain.

Got a case of the dumbs at the moment. All prior knowledge of bike mechanics and common sense things seemed to have drained out of my brain after a) not riding/or been part of the scene for some time now and b) having a kid. You forget everything when you’re keeping another human alive 24/7.
