Hi all! Planning to buy a Canyon Endurace CF7 soon.
My measurements are 179.5cm height, 82cm inseam (book method, pulling up until touching sitting bones).
Doing the inseam*0.883 calculations, it gives me 72.4cm (ballpark) saddle height.
The website recommends me a size M, but from the geometry specs for size M, it seems it can only the have saddle height between 71.3 and 81.3cm.
Size S can go from 68.3 to 78.3. And the website starts recommending size S if my inseam were 80.5cm.
It feels somewhat dangerous to go with the size M if the saddle will need to be slammed down so much, and with almost no breathing room for my measurement errors.
I’m tending towards going with an S instead, where the range of adjustment will be much more comfortable. Does it make sense? Am I overthinking it?
