I have a NS mtb rear hub that snapped on the inside at the axle, my thru axle is fine but not the freehub. Does any one know how to fix it. I do have a second rear hub with the same internals that I could swap it with but I also can’t get the cassette off because the wheel won’t ratchet as it should. I should probably take it to a bike shop but I can’t afford to do that at the moment and having the wheel rebuilt is more expensive. What should I do?

Clamp the free hub body, it’s toasted anyway , you don’t need the free hub to ratchet to take it off, you need the opposite that’s why chain whips exist
