Hi team. I have a steel bike with holes in my forks. See attached photo.
What’s the consensus, should I plug them with bolts when not in use with a rack, or does it not matter?

if you think about it, theres a lot of holes in bicycles, they are even hollow. Its doesn’t really matter tho and who wants to carry all that extra weight :). Some argument to keep out water but frames and forks are usually vented to drain
I like to put stainless steel bolts in. Make sure to grease the threads
Put bolts in with grease to keep the threads in good shape and minimize rust.
