We finally had the opportunity to build a bike together with Sturdy Cycles.
Stury probably builds the most complex titanium framesets on the market. With the help of 3D printing technology, they not only manufacture frames and forks, but also most of the add-on parts according to individual customer requirements. We are fans.
That’s one of the most beautiful bikes I’ve ever seen.

I mean this in the nicest way and only critically if there’s a good explanation, but the weld on the chainstays looks awful to the level that I’d have a hard time overlooking it, even with the beauty and refinement of the rest of the bike (especially the headtube area, but also the seattube/top tube junction). Why is that specific weld so … unrefined?
