I have a fox float X and it’s making this weird noise. Sounds like air. It does go away after pumping it up 5 -10 times. Would changing the oil and seals fix it? it’s past foxes warranty
.
Would a seal and oil change fix this issue with this fox shock?

No. It needs a complete service with a vaccum bleeder and a nitrogen charge
That AND check your pivot bearings, I had a similar issue, the shock was well overdue for service so I did that and while it was out I noticed that a couple bearings were completely seized.
Fox shocks are naturally more spongy sounding then other brands. Yours is in need of service though. I’d take it and ask for the 200 hour service
When you hear Mac n cheese it’s due for a service
