Chain rubbing on rear derailleur

I have taken my bike (trek dual sport 2 gen 5) back to the shop it was built at multiple times due to issues with my bike not running properly it hasn’t rode smoothly since I have received it. after many times bringing it back and then saying it’s needs to be adjusted and adjusting it it’ll still feel the same and I think it has gotten worse. After some investigating I have found that the entire time my chain has been rubbing on the cage of the rear derailleur. I have yet to bring it back after discovering this because my local shop has downplayed it and made me feel dumb every-time I have gone saying I had an issue. My rear is a shaman altus the chain is routed correctly. (which whenever I try to see if anyone else has this same issue it’s always due to it being incorrectly routed). I’m still not super well versed in the lingo since I’ve always ridden for fun around town and I like to take care of my bikes but this has seriously put a damper on me being able to enjoy my bike I haven’t had it a full year yet and I only would ride a few times a week during the summer when I could so I haven’t even done a lot of miles on it yet. I am a truly defeated man in this endeavor and any help would be appreciated. If you need any more info please let me know and I’ll try to provide it. I don’t live in a very bike filled area so the local shop is the closet one to me a lot of the ones in my area have closed as well. I tried to circle where it rubs on the cage specifically but it’s wreaking havoc on my chain and I don’t want to ride it anymore after realizing that it was happening. Everything on the bike is exactly the way the shop left it last time I went and they adjusted it.
