It has been a while since I have posted something about my trips with #vanny the Charlatan. This time we went on a journey of nearly two months, so I will be posting episodes of this #vantrip. As our starting and ending point was France, I have decided to kick off the series with the first episode about France, and yes, sure, because it is France, there will be a second episode about it.
The journey was a spring journey. We did it on purpose to be able to explore what we wanted to explore before the high season.
Some practical information:
The boat (round) trip from the port of Tour Fondue to Porquerolles is 24 euros for an adult or 21 euros discounted for people younger than 26 or older than 65 years old. The trip is around 20 minutes. For a return trip, the ferry was overcrowded, and we didn’t take the last available boat. So I suppose that it is definitely better to book in advance if you go there in high season. There are many other trips to the nearby islands as well from the port of Tour Fondue. On Porquerolles Island, you can either hike or bike. There are plenty of bike rental services available. You can also explore the island by renting a boat, of course. There are plenty of eating facilities on the island.

Beautiful scenery again and from what I can hear great commentary. Sadly the music is drowning you out so I could not hear much of what you were saying. Love the video though. Keep up the great work. Again this is meant more constructive than destructive. Honestly I would prefer no music at all. Especially when you are speaking.

Masha has an ax in the kitchen to open a monster egg 😂Imagine a dinosaur runs out and hides inside the van 😉 I have many things in my kitchen, but for such an egg I am not prepared.
The music is nice and the video has a good vibe. Going early to southern Europe is a good idea not only because of the crowds, but because it gets very hot later. I did camping holidays there in summer, and you will not be able to stay in a car or a tent during the day. Better visit locations further to the north during the next two months.
