haven’t had much time to touch the bike recently but I went back to it today and checked everything out again. BB seems fine cranks are fine chain is new and not too tight since that was the majority of the responses last time, still crackling, gets worse when Im on it. Wondering if it could just simply be the sprocket.. anyone have any idea?

You may already have been asked to check this, but :
– how’s the chain line ? Can we see a picture of the chain head on ?
– are all drivetrain parts 1/4″ ? Mismatching 1/4 and 3/32 parts is a classic in singlespeed conversion. In my experience, a 3/32 chain on 1/4 sprockets simply does not engage at all but yours might barely
