Missed a turn at 30 and ended up in a yard. Luckily all the gravel broke the fall lol. That and this helmet. I’ve been seeing too many other riders out lately without one.

Dang, is that the rear of the helmet that is smashed?
When I see an undeveloped brain without a helmet protecting it I wonder how, in the year 2024, has society and the adults in this child’s life failed to impress the importance of using helmets.
When I see a fully developed brain without a helmet I just know I’m looking at an idiot that has no regard for their own life.
It is almost as if half of the people out there aren’t even capable of rational thought? I’d say we know that now.

Yep, concussion, cracked ribs, brain hematoma and road rash. But lived to tell the tale. Helmet cracked through and foam shattered. Seriously I think I could have been dead or serious brain injury.
My wife sent me an article about things you should replace regularly, bike helmets are one. This new MIPS helmet lasted 2 1/2 rides! Good wife

Many helmet manufacturers have crash replacement policies. Check with the shop where you got the helmet, you may get a substantial discount on the replacement.
