Join me on a test ride aboard the amazing Honda Transalp 750 around the stunning Shropshire countryside.

The sound quality isn’t the best on this one. Sadly, my mic dislodged, and I didn’t realise until after 😩

  1. I think your microphone might be too close to your mouth. It sounds a little distorted. Or maybe turn down the sensitivity (gain).
It was still enjoyable to watch, though.
Thanks for sharing, and see you on your next adventure 👊 🤙 🤘
P.s. in answer to your question, it's the same engine as I have on my nc750x dct. (Half a Honda jazz car engine)

  2. Another great video. If you intend to seriously tour you are going down the right road with an adventure bike. I would suggest you try 3 or 4 of them. Mine is a triumph tiger 1200. This does not make me biased but if you try a few i would certainly make sure 1 of them is a Tiger 900. Perfect for pulling you and the girlfriend along and the best tripple engine on the market. When i tour about 3 times a year i get around 62 mpg on the 1200. me and my partner do about 5000 miles abroad every year in total comfort. I have suggested a ride out before so if you would like a look around mine just let me know. Who knows in the future you would be welcome to tag along on one of my trips or if you want advice of where to go your welcome to my knowledge. As i mentioned before, have been riding 43 years and i am 62 now so have done it and bought the t-shirt LOL

    Keep up the good work,
    Dale.

  3. The only thing that put me off that bike is the tubed tyres. Get a puncture and you are off the road until the recovery vehicle arrives. I prefer tubeless as a temporary repair takes only a few minutes.

  4. Firstly must declare I own a TA, that said having owned dozens of bikes and riding for about 35 years ish it’s a superb bike. It’s got that rare quality that it just works and you feel like you could go anywhere on it, Scotland or Southend, whatever you want.

  5. If you intend touring, defo go with tubeless tyres. I can recommend North Coast 500 to get you in the mood or the Welsh circuit. If you haven't already tried it, Llunllys cross roads to Penybontfawr and over the mountain to Bala, through Bala to Betws Y Coed and on to Caernarfon via Pen y Pass.
