  1. our only gold medalist athlete here in Philippines got $2,000,000 from the government and many big companies, plus a luxury condo, and many free lifetime food service 😂

  2. Meanwhile India: If you dont get a medal, ministers will account how much money they have spent in you and got wasted in a live Parliament session .😅 That's why we 1.4 billion get only 5bronze and 1 silver 0 gold.

  3. And now I understand why people choose to go and compete for countries outside of where they were born! I’d be learning Hong Kong since I started training lol

  4. Bc Hong Kong people never have their focus on sports but rather in finance and stuff and it’s that tiny portion of people who choose that minority life bringing glory to such a small place can really unite the city.

  5. The difference is how different country get their athletes. In the US, athletes are individuals who get better just doing sports as hobby or school teams. In China and other former soviet countries, athletes are chosen as kids, trained in a national center for the singular purpose of winning gold for the country. This is why china can win as many gold as the US even thought most chinese are quiet bad at sports, as we basically study and do homework all day.
