Before the race I thought if Lionel was 3 min or less back out of the water he has a chance and he was. He definitely had a chance to for top 5 if not for DQ, total shame and petty on ironman.

Super disappointing, bogus DQ for Lionel. I just can’t understand how an official can end a pro’s WORLD CHAMP race over an imaginary violation.
The official who disqualified him should give a public apology. And perhaps pay Lionel what he would have won in prize money.
