Owning a personal airplane is something most of us can only dream of because even basic small planes are not only expensive to purchase but also costly to operate. But what if you could experience the same level of freedom and excitement for a fraction of the price and without the need for a license? Ultralight aircraft are the perfect solution for those who want to experience the thrill of flying and maximum safety without breaking the bank. These planes all operate under FAA Rules Part 103, which means you don’t need a pilot’s license or hundreds of FAA paperwork to fly them. All you need are basic flying skills and a lack of aerophobia, or fear of flying. So, if you’re fearless and ready to fly, buckle up as we explore the 10 Cheapest Ultralight Aircraft That Don’t Require a License and Are Easy to Fly.

So you can buy an aircraft for $900.00 and fly without a pilots licence? Why am I finding this very hard to believe?
It's almost as if the creator of this video has made it up.
8 can't stand that fake Ireland accent or Scottish it's fake as shit
Most seem to fall under ELSA regs.
So there you are in your flying lawn chair at 1000 feet giggling at how cheap your little airplane is.
In Europe, Ultralights can have two seats, BUT it's not really license free. You still have to pass theory exams (too dangerous otherwise in crowded European airspace, and with dense population)
So much misinformation.
Do your own research.
Poorly researched. Not accurate. US, Canadian, Europe all define ultralight differently. All cost at bottom end – just poorly done
What kind of B.S. this is, can buy this for $900.00 what a JOKE the answer is LOL NO!!! Maybe $9,000.00 you might find one why not just tell the TRUE!!!
But what if you do have fear?
Gyrocopter with vw engine?
Scammer alert. There is no 900.00 aircraft
Remember that adding floats changes the weight rules in the United States
Nothing should require a license, it is evil.
Isn't it crazy how far you too was fallen when they started there were no standards now there are standards it's s***
To expensive
😢
Ima get the first one
These are not “cheap” or ultralights.
Ass🕳 title and very deceptive.
This sounds so bad & so misinformed.
Consider Fisher Ultra light aircraft
Satu tempat satu vedio youtube yang kau bagi recording media aku tak tengok kerja nak pangil bini anak beranak kejra lain lain lain nak ikut macam mana kau kena terus lepas tak apa aku kena tak duit tak ada jamin tak ada apa pon tak ada
Kau dah tahu kapal terbang dah lalu dekat situ nak tahu dia pegi mana pegi ikut sendiri
Not one was $900!
If it seats two people, it's not an ultra-light. If it has a N number, it's not an ultralight.
The amount of goofy rule nazis about flying a kite here is wild.
Buying the cheapest aircraft you can find is not the best idea. Lynrd Skynrd did that.
Either you don't understand what an ultralight aircraft is or you're outright misinforming folk. smh
Sound like the money things like from the 60s I do like watching the video though
Incredibly irresponsible video giving false and incorrect information bot in the video and in the description. The creator of this content could have spent a bit of time actually gathering the correct info on the planes featured. In description it reads “all the planes featured here are 103 compliant.” Line maybe 2 of these planes are. The $900 thumbnail is just plain malicious misleading to get clicks. Shame on you!
What a load of misinformation.somebody needs to go back and do some proper reaearch.SMH. ppl holder here.
2 seaters are NOT pat 103 legal and require a sport pilot license.
No
Always have a parachute to the ultralights your Life is in your hands.
Sorry gentlemen most of these aircraft are not ultralight 103 as per the FAA regulations Single Seed 5 gallons of gas and not over 254 lb there are very few airplanes in this video that even qualify
Das Video ist viel zu lang für so wenig Inhalt.
Would love to see sme videos on Rotax they are just an unsung hero of aviation and Motorsports industries like rotax is an amazing crazy company
I think that the Aerolite B103 RTF is closer to $30,000.
Could not even buy an engine for $4,000 !
Can't be just me looking at some of these basic framed ultras and thinking, there's about £500 in materials there without the engine.
(13:08) Mini-Max line aircraft is not available any more as the company's web site disappeared by now Nov 2024.
These are becoming overprice junk if you ask me
Almost back to the Wright Bros Flier –just far more powerful & lighter engines —-far more compact –imagnine if Orville could see these ultralights ?
Shit, I can get a good Cessna 170 for less $
Got all wrong, not even the prices are near close to 2024 prices. Most of the planes here are not available new anymore, the Aerolite 103 is the only one still available and supported professionally.
