But it's got a SRAM chain on a deore Xt drivetrain and the rear end is a little noisy I thought it was cause the SRAM chain not working with the XT stuff but it's wearing out this little dirt scraper thing, is the chain supposed to be routed on the other side? If it did then that wouldn't make sense, probably going to order a Shimano 10 speed chain and hopefully don't need to replace the rear derailer

Yes, it is indeed supposed to be routed on the other side of the scraper thing. Its not actually a scraper thing, its just part of the derailleur cage and isn’t meant to come into contact with the chain.
We’ve all made this mistake lol.
Looks like it’s rubbing on that tab on the derailleur cage. Would need to be rerouted to the other side. Watch and see if it’s rubbing on it as you spin the cranks.

The chain is routed on the wrong side of this tab. You either need am to break the chain (if it has a quick link) or take the derailleur pulleys off to get the chain over the tab and routed correctly.
Edit, got it routed correctly now. Not as noisy as it was going to reclean everything and oil it up again. Probably time for a new chain anyways but thanks for the help
