Four people are believed to have been killed across Britain and a major incident was declared in south Wales as Storm Bert caused widespread flooding and travel disruption over the weekend. More than 80 per cent of November’s average monthly rainfall fell in 48 hours across the UK.

A body was found on Sunday in the search for Brian Perry, 75, who went missing in the River Conwy in north Wales on Saturday afternoon.

Three men are also reported to have died on the roads during the storm, and five adults and five children were rescued from a house following a landslide.

  1. What is going on this world right now it's not a happened it was written . Allah is power over all he is the lord for everyone without allah you have nothing. You are not successful . God bless everyone.

  2. Climate!!! Change!!!! Do somthing about it. If you have the mindset of just one person can’t make a difference, then you need to think more of yourself and stop thinking you’re small. Be amazing and help change the world! ❤

  3. They spray the skies everyday, which potentially has increased the intensity of the rain. You'll notice on a clear day there's no trails in the sky yet there are still planes flying

  4. British people are so cute half a meter under water and they call it major incident.. Here in Asia people face flood every year, typhoons, earthquakes and what not but people do not baby cry about it, but so Suck it up and face it.

  5. My heart goes out to the people affected. But this isn't unexpected. This is Wales. There has been bad storms for as long as I can remember.. the councils don't even clean the drains anymore 😡

  6. Poor reporting by the Times . I would have thought better from them , not saying where this was . And I feel sorry for people who have had their homes flooded !

  7. Did you know that the so-called Israel prohibits DNA testing on its residents because most of those who have had these tests have been found to be from Russia, Eastern Europe and North Africa, while the tests conducted on the Palestinians have proven that they are of Middle Eastern origin? That means those who call themselves Israelis are in fact fake Jews, and the Palestinians are the owners of the land and perhaps the descendants of the real Jews who have converted to Islam.

  8. In all seriousness though and jokes aside, these weather issues have been long forecast. The authorities are way to slow about fixing the issues like better barriers, lessoning the amount of concrete going down, green space distraction etc. Instead they mess about with 20mph limits thinking that'll help! What are these clowns actually getting paid to come up with these ideas? Agreed that all that rain in a short time is rough but come on, sort the river bank defences🤷🏼

  9. Natural forest slows water level rises and allow aquifers to replenish reducing both flooding and drought. Forests are destroyed for animals grazing because we are obsessed with meat and animal milks.

  10. Mr. Frenchman are you still around? 15 years ago he asked me about CC and where was the sea level rise, I said, "above your head", meaning the atmosphere. Been flooded out yet?

  11. Surprise,Surprise. Cloud seeding and weather manipulation all over the globe. Flooding all over Europe. YOU WILL BELIEVE IN A CLIMATE EMERGENCY. And you will destroy your economy to make them stop

  12. And all the ignorant people will say it's just flooding happens every year. I get incensed when I read comments like that, if it doesn't affect them then it's no big deal.

  13. The ONLY solution to this is dredging and deepening rivers. A scrape of a few feet in the centreline of the river almost doubles it's flow capacity (same principle as DeepFlow guttering). The dredged aggregate could be used to bund the river banks – a double win. There may be a an environmental impact short-term – but balance that against the environmental damage of flooding.
