I stopped track racing a handful years ago and have since sold my race bikes (Fuji Tack Elite and BMC Trackmachine TR02), but decided to make this thing for fun. I started with a steel State Bicycle Montecore 3 4130 core line, kept only the frame, and upgraded it to street legal with the following:
- Zipp 808 Firecrest 80mm wheels; rear wheel converted to track with a Miche dual side track hub: 19t fixed on one side and 20t White Industries free hub on the other
- Shimano crank set
- Stages track power meter
- Miche 52t chain ring
- Carbon Origin 8 fork (replaced the original State bike fork to allow for brake installation)
- Shimano Dura race brake calipers
- TRP brake levers
- Easton EC 70 SL bars
- BMC 110mm stem (taken from the BMC)
- Oval 934 saddle (taken from the Fuji Track Elite)
