I'm a road cyclist in washington state where it is often rainy, usually not that windy (Unless a bomb cyclone comes) and between 30 and 50 degrees for most of the winter. I was looking at getting better cold weather clothing from Pactimo, specifically:
- The Men's Storm+ Thermal Bib Tight, https://www.pactimo.com/collections/mens-thermal-cycling-bibs-tights/products/mens-thermal-bib-tights-storm
- Or the Men's Storm+ Thermal Bib https://www.pactimo.com/collections/mens-thermal-cycling-bibs-tights/products/mens-thermal-cycling-bibs-storm
I already have leg warmers to go with the shorts just in case, but I am wondering which would be a better buy for winder road cycling?

If it’s consistently cold for the entire ride bib tights are better. Warmers are about options in changeable conditions, but they add additional seams, hems, and gripper’s which makes less comfortable.
Thermal bib shorts are fantastic for shoulder seasons though. Everyone should have a pair in the drawer.
I’m over on Bainbridge Island and rock velocio’s thermal cargo bib tights in the winter. It’s by no means overkill and keeps me just warm enough.
