I am guessing it is an 2011 or 2012ish or maybe even 2013, b/c 2013 seems to be the first year I see the black brake levers with the finger placement [piece on it](https://www.cannondale.com/-/media/files/manual-uploads/manuals/cannondaleroad-2013_usa.pdf)
this one was posted for [$350](https://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/3136460/) on pinkbike two years ago which does make me wonder if even $400 is too high, but maybe adjusted for inflation it is OK?

CAAD8 is OLD. I can see maybe getting it if you really care about american-made (IIRC, CAAD9 were the last ones), but $400 feels too high to me, especially with older Sora.
I personally would go to ~$250 max.
its a 10 year old bike with basic components. 400 is too much. for 400 you can get a similar year that’s a higher model
The $350 pinkbike price is an asking price. We don’t know how much the buyer and seller negotiated, maybe the actual selling price was $275. Also if it was during the pandemic then used prices were inflated due to the lack of new bikes available.
