Picked up the frame for $50 and then proceeded to drop $450 on everything else lol. I really built it for just cruising around town and trips into Salt Lake City that require a bit of light gravel to cut out road. I’m still looking to get a frame bag, but I’m running into issues with the externally mounted top tube cables any insight would be helpful. I also want to get a bike lock that goes into the seat tube water bottle mounting bolts, so I don’t have to carry it in my backpack. While I ’m sure that this giant iguana is nothing special. I really like the paint scheme and the fact that it was an established brand.
Build the details
-Cues 1x 9 AliExpress group set. The low range on it is absolutely ridiculous. I live on a giant hill, so it was really nice to just be able to crawl my way up with a 32 46.
– New cassette rear wheel. It’s only single wall so light gravel and road only.
– Panaracer gravel King SK tires
– Claris brake levers and basic Shimano breaks
– The grips pedals and saddle I had just laying around. I do understand the irony of putting $180 pedals on a $50 bike though.

Sick! I just picked up the same frame. I’m looking forward to building it up!
Scrolling past this I was thinking to myself, wow I saw almost the exact same frame on FB marketplace not too long ago. And then, wow that kinda looks like a Utah trail. Click on the post and sure enough haha. Sick build!
