I use an REI Junction as a replacement backpack. It has a combination of bike and office stuff. Normal loadout:
-Ipad
– spare Tshirt
– spare tube
– bike pump
– pair of Pedro’s
– compact tool kit
– bt headphones
– single bungee for holding bike on train
– Misc Pens and pencils
– Protein Bars for lunch/snack
I actually take a train about 50miles and bike the last 3.5 or so. Usually there are bungees to tie down the bike, but sometimes they are missing, hence bringing my own.

The things I need for each particular destination/errand that typically have nothing to do with my mode of transportation.
