Hey everyone,
I received this frame bag and have been wondering if it might be just right or too long for my frame. My concern is that the back of the bag touches the seat stay and whether that might damage the frame over time. I plan to use protective tape where the bag attaches to the frame.
Hoping you can share some knowledge and experience!

It’s the perfect size
New bike?
Strapping anything to your bike will risk scuffing the paint.
Riding your bike will also risk scuffing the paint.
The fit is perfect, go get the bike dirty and quit worrying about keeping things nice, a bike is a tool.
Ity’s the perfect size. Bags always rub on the frames, such is life. Protective tape is a solution.
Looks pretty dang spot on to me. Apply some protective tape under straps and sides of the bag and go ride.
Ya wrap it in tape wherever bag or Velcro meets frame. Stick with that bag, looks clean af
It’s perfect. I have a revelation tangle that’s a smidge too big but it gives me significantly more room than the size down so I don’t mind. But that looks clean AF.
Also, this stuff will protect your frame very well if you care about that sort of thing: VViViD 3M Clear Paint Protection… https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LY0GIZV?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I wrapped my painted Salsa Fargo but my moots ti frame is raw and I just let it wear the frame bag scars.
