NORTHERN FRANCE BICYCLE TOUR – AVENUE VERTE (LONDON – PARIS)
Second day of the tour. Riding a stretch of the Avenue Verte from Gournay-en-Bray to Dieppe.
At the end of the day I also covered a section of the Veloroute du Lin.
At the end of the day I found a spot on a campsite in Le Bourg-Dun.
This all in the beautiful Normandy region.
Total kilometers ridden on this second day of the tour: 118
Meters climbed: 730

Best whishes from Berlin, Ronald
Great video again. Warmer longer days seem so far away in December . I find trying to navigate on bike computers is not great. Fine on long stretches of quiet roads in rural locations – but having discovered RWGPS – and uploading routes to my phone, the nav is so easy, even in busy confusing towns. You’d be doing really well to get lost.
Lekker bezig weer 💪
Campers allways think they have the right of way😬. Helaas…
I wish I'd see more women doing this but maybe i need to get going and inspire someone being myself first 😅
France is certainly gifted with beautiful nature and atmospheric towns and villages, love it. Houdoe.
Thanks for taking us along, excited for our mini trip through tulip fields and into Bruges in April.
Thanks – i plan to do this route from london in spring. How did you get the route on garmin ? Gpx file. Is there a website?
What joy! Thank you and PLEASE keep giving us more.
Thanks for posting this set of videos, it looks really nice. And your calm positive attitude is a real inspiration.
If I remember correctly, you have to set up your map region for you wahoo. It will then show all the roads etc.
Hi, greetings from Scotland!Great video as always, thank you. Regarding the wahoo maps, I have a bolt version 1 and a roam version 2(same as yours I think). The bolt map does show railway lines once you zoom in to the 100m level, however the roam does not! I think it’s just the way Wahoo have set them up and can’t be changed by the user. However, once I load a route onto the roam I can see railway lines (and country boundaries)on the map on the app on my phone(iPhone). Hope this helps. Cheers!
