I am looking for my first road bike. There is a 30-mile riverside paved trail by my house which I’d like to regularly ride for exercise. I also may commute on a 5 mile paved trail to work, when the weather permits.
What is a good price for this Giant OCR1? The listing is $300. There are no pedals. The listing states it has Shimano Ultegra components. Does anyone know what year this bike is? From an initial search, it seems it was made between 2004 and 2008, but there were changes between model years. What should I look out for?

It seems to have both Ultegra and 105 components, which an online forum suggests makes it a 2004. Also has a carbon fork & Truvitiv crank.
If this is a buy, what pedals would you recommend?
