  1. The silver looks retro in a bad way. It makes me think of early 2000s open mould frames. There are not enough other things on the bike that are silver to make the wheels work.

Definitely the black ones. All of the components on the bike are black and not silver and the silver wheels give an optical illusion of being not-deep dish which looks way wrong on that frame. Like wearing a suit with running shoes.

I do not like the look of the Rolf Vigor’s on that frame. Since you already have them and obviously want to make them work, in my opinion to make them look good you have two options, option #1 get some black vinyl to put on the silver. Think that would help, maybe black vinyl but have off gray lettering or something similar to bottom wheel set. Option number 2 is to try to add some matching accents to the bike. So whitish bar tape water bottles or heaven forbid even saddle.

Someone else mentioned it, the shallow profile of the wheels look funny with the frame. Maybe it will be less noticeable in black

  4. I’d go with the campagnolo’s although personally I’m not a fan of wheels with these lacing patterns at all. Just don’t like their looks. These wheels from what I understand are highly regarded though..
