Thoughts on this Trek Madone 3.1 for $1100 (Australian dollars)? approx 710usd

Features/Upgrades:
– FFWD FastForward F6R 58mm deep carbon fiber wheelset
– Sram Red 2×10 Groupset
– Sram Red carbon fiber crankset
– Continental Grand Prix 4000 front tyre
– Continental Ultra rear tyre

Full service done by (reputable Australian bike store) a couple months ago.
– Gears and drivetrain cleaned and lubricated
– New chain
– Wheels trued and spokes checked
– Hanger aligned
– Gears and brakes tuned/lubricated
– New headset lower bearing and bottom bracket tightened

I have inspected the bike in person and am fairly sure the scratch pictured is just a scratch and not a crack , but if anyone has any reason to believe otherwise please let me know

    I mean, not the best, not the worst either. The wheels are carbon wheels with an alloy brake track – it means they’re pretty heavy, and I suspect they’ll have a fairly narrow internal rim width too. The SRAM Red group on there is the earliest generation where the shift levers have a tendency to break over time.

    Gearing is pretty high too – that will be difficult if you live somewhere hilly.

    In the same price bracket there’s probably better options. For example, I’d expect that you could probably pick up something from 2015-ish with an 11 speed groupset in that price range. For example, I saw a Tarmac SL5 with Ultegra 11 speed for sale recently in my area for $1000 AUD – I’d definitely take that over this.
