  1. First one I would say is done. Second one might have a little bit of life. But if you can get some new tires for a good price I say go for it.

    Nothing to stop you purchasing then storing until needed.

    I’ve not typically ridden any to that point. Other than when I was skidding around as a kid. But if I was in a tight spot and needed to ride then fine. I’m not turning up to a race or an event with those two fitted though. I’m not sure once I removed them I’d even keep them as spares. Straight to bin. But I’ve seen others ride the same or worse.

    However anyone who needs and values the grip of an assegai, probably needs to replace them. There’s certainly not much of anything left ok the dhr, and the side knobs on both look moments away from not being side knobs anymore.

    The DHR is figgedy fucked but the Assegai is vaguely acceptable, most of the edges are vaguely sharp still… Having said that I’d probably replace it personally if I was changing the rear anyway.
