I am old enough to remember when BMX started. Watching movies like Rad. BMX competitions on man made courses. Now over the years advancing to using a damn mountain as your course. It is insane.

Change the description. This isn't a free-ride. It's slopestyle. The lines are too groomed now, and all the gnar has been removed. These lines are childs play for the majority of riders. It's boring.
A few more years and this event will be no different than any other slopestyle event. They used to ride real back country lines, now its just a series of trick jumps. This is no longer real Rampage in my opinion.

This used to be my favorite comp.
Renting a helicopter for a half day is $500k. Could have saved some $ using drones and give it to the riders.
These guys don't know the difference from flags and windsocks so no wonder brendog didn't win. Highly technical free ride should have took the prize home.
