Exploring Ireland’s Forgotten Island

Inisbofin or “Island of the the white cow” is a 5km long island off the west coast of Ireland steeped in history and in myth. Throughout my time on the island I met some of the nicest and kindest people I’ve ever met. Travelling to this island was a unique experience to say the least. From driving across Ireland to getting a ferry it was a lot but worth it in the end once we landed on the island. Interviewing people on the island thought me a lot about life there and what a day is like on island. The views from the island include Croagh Patrick, The Atlantic ocean and much much more.

Thanks to everyone on Inisbofin for helping make this video possible and thanks to my friends @SimonMaxwellFootball @lehectorlopez

  1. this was a beautiful watch. beautifully shot. true artistry here. every single video you post is so calming, yet entertaining on this loud space we call the digital one. inisbofin is definitely on my bucket list now as well as some of our other beautiful islands. well done cian.

  2. Amazing video brother, executed so well and I love the cinematography! If you're ever short of a filmmaking buddy for a trip in Ireland, I'd love to join alongside with my camera πŸŽ₯ Looking forward to more vids!

  3. Similar to what the gentleman here says remember one of my parents friends saying they liked going back to relearn all the turns of phrase they'd forgotten.

I live about 30 minutes from the west coast and I think that's ideal because as glorious as it is on a good day the wind and wet would get to me if I lived on in.

  4. Please do more, this was amazing, I'm a 20 year old lad from Kildare, I have no business watching 3 blokes going around an island but it was so fun to watch
