Personally no, but fixie tax is high these days. Id hold out for a pair of wheels

I have the same set up, built up from the hubs which I already owned. Full set with new rims (archetypes), spokes, labor and taxes ran me $600.

Seems like a great buy to me. If you don’t need brake compatible rims that strip might bother you aesthetically. I’d guess that was a $7-800 build when new
