So I basically used to hike there (Schöckl – Austria) regularly and always was like “How can anyone ride that?”/ “Maybe in my next life…”. Anyway I got obsessed with the idea of enduro mountainbiking, but never had the cash. Finally threw away all my savings and got a proper bike 1.5 years ago and spent as much time as possible on the bike ever since.

Still can’t comprehend what I learned/achieved in that time. Absolutely no regrets “wasting” all that money on such a high risk hobby – in case anyone is hesitating: Do it! (+spend a lot more cash on season passes etc.)

The trail is called “Gedscho”: lenght: 2000m – vertical height: 500hm (so this video is just a section of my 5 minute run down the hill)

In case someone ist interested, I also posted the full run on Youtube: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NhDbkEBuidI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NhDbkEBuidI)

  2. I don’t want to disdain your progress and your achievement but you should maybe travel a bit before calling this “one of europe’s hardest downhill tracks”. That’s for sure a very nice black trail but the fact that you can ride it with that speed on an enduro bike means it’s far from the hardest downhill tracks in Europe, where you wouldn’t dip a toe without a proper DH bike.

This point aside, this trail looks really fun and I’d love to ride it !
