Are you going to do disc wheels? There’s a good selection of 27.5 / 650b tires. Not as many 26″ tires to choose from. I’ve been able to fit 50mm Gravel Kings with plenty of clearance.
I like the geometry of a rigid mtb better than the standard gravel bike geo. Longer top tubes and no toe overlap.
Post the finished bike when you’re done. I’m always looking to change up my conversions.
