I'm on the lookout for a good pair of cycling sunglasses with a large fit.

I'm not after a race profile style—something more casual would be ideal. I've been considering SunGod as an option, but I'm also curious if there are other brands out there worth checking out. I had a look at Café Du Cycliste, but their designs feel a bit too extreme for my taste. Any suggestions? Bonus points for photochromatic sunglasses that perform well on longer bikepacking trips.

  1. Not quite sure what you are after but I have been happy with Tifosi’s offerings. Have three pairs.

  2. I just buy RX sunglasses from a DTC company like Zenni (you can get non rx lenses from them) in whatever style I like then add little rubber grips from Amazon that go behind my ear. Never had a problem with them slipping on the bike or playing racquet sports.

Paying exorbitant prices for casual glasses with a little strip of rubber built into the frame ain’t it.
