My choice was the race wireless rigid with money no object. Mostly for the range. I expect with trickle down the new 13 speed stuff will also increase the range eventually. But for now I need the range of the 10/52.

The Lauf is one of my top choices because tire clearance (57mm) means you can use this bike for most any event.

Factor OSTRO Gravel, Red AXS XPLR. Purpose built to be fast and well spec’d. Personally i have and ENVE MOG with an XX SL Transmission 1x drivetrain, ENVE 4.5 wheels with 48c Tufo Thundero Tires. Its the ideal setup for me. But you cant buy them as fully built bikes so it wouldn’t qualify……

Probably the Colnago G4-X. Just because it’s drop dead sexy in Yellow. Yes, I am shallow.
Currently I have a black Surly Midnight Special that looks like it has been to hell and back.

I’m on a 2024 3T Racemax Italia SRAM Force D2 AXS 2×12. This is the Italian factory build. It has Pirelli 40mm on it with the Zipp 303s, power meter, 36T in the back, 46-33t in the front. I love the bike and it is super aero and fast, but given that I’ve been more interested in climbing lately, if I could go back and spend a little extra money, I’d buy the Specialized S-Works Crux SRAM Red XPLR. 6.94k! 😁

I have the Seigla core wireless. Excellent bike. I would prob buy the Race transmission if money was no object.
Custom. Get the fit, build and color you want. I have two custom steel Carl Strongs. My next one will be Ti. With the price of flagship off-the-rack models creeping upwards, custom is cost competitive.

Rodeo Flaanimal Ti. Been ogling it for ages and they just came out with a new version that makes some small but nice improvements. Maybe one day I’ll have enough nickels in the jar.

Custom Seven Cycles Evergreen with Travel Couplers. If money is no issue and I only get one bike a do it all travel bike with endurance geometry suitable for everything from road to single track is the clear answer.

A nice steel frame with a good and durable mechanical shifting setup. Maybe a frame from Spa cycles would be good.

Can. We. Stop. The. Lauf. Spam! I’m trying to hold off buying one here!!!
Dream buy: probably a MOG or a decked out Crux. Reality buy: Probably a Lauf Seigla rival or even the apex one (have apex on my current gravelbike) and swap out the wheels.

Some custom painted titanium that can fit 2.3 tires, UDH SRAM Red XPLR and DT Swiss GRC 1100 DICUT wheels. In my dreams..
