I'm pretty new to MTB so won't be hitting anything super gnarly right away, would this bike be appropriate? We have a lot of chunky climbs in my area and I find my GT Avalanche Sport struggling to keep traction in the rear wheel.
Are there any red flags to this build, or just buying "custom builds" in general?

I just got a 2017 Kona process for 800 offer that. I think he’s over charger for such an old bike.
