Bike shop quoted me RM650, $165, £116 for carbon repair. I also asked for a full fork replacement, and they said will cost about that much too. Don't think it's worth fixing as I bought this bike for RM800. Planning to keep it as a short distance training bike, any advice? Oh it's a 2008ish Boardman Comp

Sorry bruv.
Only possible half-measure fix is if you happen to be a skilled tig-welder, so you could transplant another half leg from a healthy fork. Even then, I don’t know if it can be done as good as new.
If you can’t do it yourself, it’ll be cheaper to get a new fork as a spare part.
You do not want to ride that thing, the chipping shows damage to the metal. That thing will come off at the most inopportune time possible.
(You’ll be faceplanting so hard your ancestors will get road rash.)
Just replace the fork. You’ll be much better off.
