Been toying with the idea of a drop bar gravel bike for a while now, but not a huge fan of the modern bikes. Rescued this old road frame from a shed where it had sat since the mid-90s and built it up into something to burn around on. Need to throw a bigger cassette on or get fitter!

Are these René Herse tires? If yes: Did you just call a bike with 100$ tires a „poor man’s“ bike? Haha… nice build though! Really like the bar tape.
Yeah, you’re cutting it close with them tires on a road-racing frame. Your tires are gonna rub if you go up 10psi.
And yeah, if not a bigger cassette, just get a granny gear, and a long-cage rear derailler.
