In the summer of 2020 I’ve traveled the Kattegatleden by bike. This video has been shot during the first days of the tour and illustrates the atmosphere of being on the road in Sweden quite well. The trip starts in Berlin, I board a train to Rostock, where I check in to a ferry to Göteborg. From there I bike down to Helsingborg along the Swedish Kattegat coast. Unfortunately already on the fourth day I ran out of space on my memory cards 🙂 But the day before I found the Perfect Spot to camp. It turned out to be the highlight of the tour, and I am really happy to finally share the simple beauty of it with you!
Most of the following songs have been spinning in my head while I was biking:
0:09 – Pretenders “Back on the Chain Gang”
2:26 – Burrito Brown “Melon Monroe”
4:03 – Dario Lessing “Elfe”
8:41 – Andi Fins + Larissa Pesch “What Are We Gonna Do”
13:15 – Gonzales “Overnight”
Enjoy!

Hello,
Thanks for sharing your trip.
I wonder if in August there was many riders or not. From what we can see in your vídeo, it doest.t seem…but maybe you did not record them. Could you tell me, then?
Thanks a lot
