Contact the Canyon support and send them those pics. I’m sure they’ll replace the frame. I had a damaged frame on my Strive after more than 5 years and got a new frame.

Did you have your derailleur clutch on? I once saw damage caused by someone that was riding with the clutch off and the derailleur cage flew forward up into the chain stay and cracked it on a bump.

very unlikely you did this by just riding a gravelbike on gravel. I bet this happened in the canyon factory and no one noticed until you took the photo.

Send pic to Canyon and request replacement. You would need to ship the bike back. This absolutely doesn’t look like paint chip. Structure of carbon fiber is damaged and compromised.
