Car pulls out but can’t pass me. He gets very upset because I tap his side to tell him to get away. He then proceeds to drive dangerously at me three time and then gets out and moves threateningly towards me. First time I’m frightened enough to defend myself with the D-lock.

  1. Saw the same today, and last week – not 10 miles from there. The driver of a van in standing still traffic, got out and chased the cyclist. Not sure what happened but is it worth it,? Give distance from anyone you have a near mis with – both cyclist and car driver – DO NOT escalate.

  2. I suppose if you’re so close you can touch the car, then that is why the cyclist rides into a situation afterwards that he can touch the car. Complete hypocrisy.

  3. Cyclist was looking for trouble, deliberately rides into situations like this, he gave you plenty of room , you’re like many cyclists,,, looking for confrontation to the extent that you’ll deliberately ride into anyone you can ,

  4. Car driver out of order highway code tells you to give way to cyclist etc car driver way off ,Iam a motorcyclist of 45 years seen loads of incompetent drivers and he fits the bill

  5. Cyclists are a danger, as a car driver I’d have slowed down, but because you’re cycling you think you have the right to push into spaces. Slow down, let the faster vehicle move out in front rather than block him in down a narrow street. You didn’t even use the cycle divider at 0:18 and instead decided to put yourself and the car in danger.

Jesus I used to cycle these streets and I wouldn’t have sped up like you just did, especially given how exposed you are. No doubt you were on route to Richmond or Bushy Park so you could whizz around annoying pedestrians acting like it’s your own personal highway.
