Ireland. Dogs. The Law is an Ass.

It’s in the title !!!
This is the 2nd time a German shepherd has attacked my dogs who did not react in any way shape or form.
Both incidents where the dogs were being handled by women and both were not muzzled.
Today the German shepherd had a head harness which is NOT a muzzle. The German shepherd was allowed access and unfortunately Max and I were refused.
The ignorance of people is astounding. It would have been nice to enter Max into the dog show. A fun day out with him in the ring. However it’s not a big deal as it’s a Micky mouse dog show.

Dog breeds that are banned are cherry picked to some degree. Recently a baby was killed in Ireland by a dachshund cross, a small dog. Are mongrel small dogs on the banned list. No.

When I was out cycling on my road bike, 3 times I was charged at by different dogs but funny enough they were all the same breed. Golden Labrador retrievers.

Instead of wearing muzzles, people should train their dogs properly in the 1st place. A muzzle is just a band-aid on a dog that’s not fit to be in public. Just my opinion here 😁

Any dog breed can be dangerous. Politicians in Ireland took the easiest root to take action on dog incidents, ban breeds, instead of looking at individual cases.

Just told this evening that rottweilers without muzzles were walking around inside the show grounds 🤣
